DIANE "PINKY" HARMAN

Educator/Actor Running for Mayor of Los Angeles 2017

About

As many of you know, I have had a stalker/hacker for the last 5 years. I had a permanent restraining order against him, however, I see now that restraining orders are a waste of paper. My hacker has been on my phone listening to my conversations, erasing e-mails and basically controlling my life. I joined the mayoral race, because I want to make a difference. I want to see a change in the police department. The police shouldn’t treat a victim as if the victim is the criminal. Right now there is no help for people who are being stalked or hacked. We need to wake up Los Angeles.

My blog is www.stalkingdharman.com, and I have over 220 posts. Thousands of people view my blog. I know that I am not alone, so it helps me. We live in a society where hacking is the norm and not an exception. Why is it when I had a permanent restraining order, and knew who my hacker/stalker was, the police would not help. My hacker/stalker is still bothering me. Enough about me, I hear your stories every day on this topic.

The police have a computer crimes unit, however, hacking isn’t a subject they know how to deal with. I went to the police department many times with no help. They have a book full of complaints about hacking and don’t do anything about it.

My name is Diane “Pinky” Harman, I am running for Mayor of Los Angeles, because there are many issues that are important to the people of Los Angeles, however, never addressed. I want to be your voice. In the coming months, I will be writing blogs on topics that are important to the people who live in Los Angeles. United, we can work together to make a difference.

I hold degrees from Cal State University Northridge, Cal State San Bernardino and Pepperdine University.  My Bachelor of Arts is in Kinesiology and my Master’s is in Psychology.  I hold a Lifetime Teaching Credential from the state of California.  I ran extension courses at UCLA through the American Language Center.  At Valley College, I served as a Psychology instructor.  I am enjoying pursuing my acting career.  Since I always wear my favorite color, I am known as “Pinky” by my fans.  Being a believer in optimism, I am confident about the future of Los Angeles.  United, we will be able to resolve the issues that challenge us.
